Help us win wealth taxes

Fill the airwarves…
Faiza, Caitlin, Joe, and Jake have been making real progress winning arguments and taking on powerful, vested interests on the TV, radio and in newspapers. With your help we can continue building their skills and our capacity, so we can keep challenging the rich and powerful’s well-resourced media machines and lobbyists that currently dominate traditional media.Flood social media…
Increasingly debates and conversations are taking place online, and again the rich and powerful minority are setting the agenda. We need to invest more in videos, shareable graphics and great content to cut through. We’ve already made massive strides forward— launching on Instagram and getting hundreds of thousands of views on our videos, but we need more resources to ramp up and cut through.Empower ordinary people…
In the last year we’ve facilitated tens of thousands of our supporters to pressure their MPs, and win arguments in their own communities. We’ve had loads of requests from our supporters to get more involved, to share more content, and take more action. To harness and direct this massive potential people power, we need more resources. -
Reduce inequality and poverty…
The wealth and power of the super rich grows every year – while millions are living in poverty and unable to make ends meet. Britain doesn’t have a shortage of wealth, but a shortage of fairness. Our tax reforms would take more from those at the very top so everyone benefits.
Enable increased investment in public services…
We should all be able see a doctor when we need one, our kids should be taught in classrooms with enough resources and our communities invested in and kept clean. But after years of underfunding and cuts, public services need investment. The government must tax the super rich more and improve services for everyone.
Tackle climate breakdown and restore nature…
Super rich individuals and polluting industries must curb their polluting behaviour and pay for the damage they’re doing. We campaign for tax changes that make this happen, for example higher taxes on private jet travel – and the oil and gas industry which can be invested in preventing future climate change and restoring our natural world.

We’ve been campaigning to rewire the tax system day in, day out, for years. In this time, we’ve built an expert team, capable of taking on the fight and winning big.
Our policies are widely used by leading organisations in the UK, and we’ve built a powerful group of people and organisations all pushing for the same things. The work we’ve done has made progressive tax reform not just an idea, but a real political solution at the top of the agenda in Westminster, in the media, and in social conversations.
We may be small, but we’ve got big ideas. We punch well above our weight because we know we have the backing of tens of thousands of supporters across the UK. Your donations help power the engine for real change in this country. Together, we can help create a better Britain.

Defending the Digital Services Tax 2025
With your help, we’ve been able to make enough noise that prevented the government from capitulating to US President Donald Trump who wanted the UK to scrap its Digital Services Tax on tech giants.Private jet tax doubled 2024
Taxes on private jets were doubled in the Autumn Budget. This tax – Air Passenger Duty – is a fair way to make the richest pay more for polluting behaviour.Capital gains tax raised 2024
Capital gains increased from 20% to 24% at the Autumn Budget in 2024. This was an important win that we can build on to make sure that income from wealth is taxed the same as income from work.Non-dom status abolished 2024
Our campaigning helped push the government to abolish non-dom status, closing an unfair loophole exploited by the internationally mobile super rich.Corporation tax rise 2023
We lobbied successive governments to raise corporation tax from 19% to 25% – which was made law in October 2023.Oil windfall tax 2022
We worked to convince the government to introduce a special tax on huge profits being made by oil and gas companies.
